Title:  The Ghost Dancer
This mask is taken from the Lakota spiritual belief of the
Ghost Dance and is inspired by a dream I had of a Ghost
Dancer who showed me the steps, as well a taught me what
the meaning of the ghost dance signifies.  As time permits, I
will be making a Ghost Dancer shirt to go with the mask.

Medium: Paper maché, acrylic paint, horse hair, feathers.
The first process was to make the paper
maché mixture, then place it into a mold.
When the mixture dries, the base can be
removed and what remains is the face shaped
mold.
After the face is sanded, paint is then
applied, then the horse hair and feathers.
The end result is the mask, The Ghost
Dancer.
